basics |
the basic rules of sorting are simple: keep ic and ooc separate, make two posts per month in your journal and link them in the members post for activity, please conduct your writing using as much realism as possible (within the realm of the magical universe, of course) and be kind to one another. please be aware of the differences between the muggle and magical universes and use your best judgement when forming your characters. but above everything else, have fun. if you have any questions, feel free to reach out in the dropbox. |
to apply |
to apply, you will be required to provide the following: • an ic friends only post • an ooc contact post • a blurb about your character • if canon or a child of canon characters, a blurb on family history • examples with at least one thread and one entry/narrative |
ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS |
to be considered active, two posts must be made in your journal per month and then dropped off in the members post. one of these entries can contain anything you'd like, but must be open to comments and encourage activity on the friends page. the other post must be 200+ words and can be private narratives or threads, but they must be open to the mod journal. all activity is due the first of every month. if you are added after the 15th of the month, you have until the first of the following month to post your links. you are, however, encouraged to post as often as you'd like. |
AGING AND TIMELINES |
because we are going to be a tight knit gpsl, we are allowing the bending of canon events and timelines to suit our needs.because the only intention with this gpsl is that we can write what we want to write, how we want to write it, and it isn't a strict canon exploration, just an outlet that we could have fun within the world, timelines are going to be fudged here and there. as long as you can provide a logical and clear explanation as to why you are changing things, then we will grant the request. please note: the events of harry potter and the cursed child are going to be disregarded within our game. feel free to pull from the text what you desire for your character if applicable, but the play as a whole is not going to be considered canon within our game. |
